Edwin W. Bowden was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. He attended Arizona State University where he obtained a B.S. in Economics in 1983. Mr. Bowden attended Wake Forest University School of Law and obtained his J.D. in 1989. Mr. Bowden was a member of the Wake Forest Law Review, the Wake Forest Moot Court Board, and graduated cum laude in the top 10 percent of his class. He worked for the law firm of Kilpatrick Stockton from 1989-1995 and thereafter established the firm of Orbock Bowden Ruark & Dillard where he worked from 1995-2004. He maintains a civil litigation practice focused on personal injury defense, construction defects, insurance coverage work, business litigation, subrogation, and other related areas. Mr. Bowden is also a certified mediator. He has two children and resides in Winston-Salem, NC.
